Broforce is a tongue-in-cheek side scrolling game that makes fun of many of the actors and tropes common in big budget action movies. The characters that you can play are all parodies of actual action stars from movies and television. You need to rescue each character to unlock the choice. Each has a different set of attacks and special moves. The game is done in the 16-bit graphics style of early console systems. The gameplay is straightforward. It involves running, jumping, shooting enemies and blowing up the environment. The levels are well constructed. A multiplayer mode is available for cooperative play. The only drawback is that Broforce is currently still in development and suffers from some bugs.
